RICS Scotland Dispute Resolution Rent Review Professional Group
The Rent Review Group is a representative panel drawn from the ranks of RICS members in Scotland who regularly deal with rent reviews and dispute resolution.
Our purpose is three-fold; to offer advice to the Dispute Resolution Service, to promote education and training of arbitrators/independent experts.
Becoming an Arbiter / Expert
In Scotland, two parties can invite a third party to settle a dispute either in the capacity of Arbiter or as an Expert. The Dispute Resolution Service run by RICS Scotland maintains a panel list of suitably qualified rent review surveyors who have achieved a certain standard of education & experience, whom RICS may appoint if asked.
