RICS Scotland Public Policy

To keep up to date with our news and views and how RICS Scotland is working with the Scottish media, parliament and government, visit the communication team's blog.

RICS Scotland Policy Unit is a source of expertise and advice to public policy makers on issues relating to the environment, land, property and construction.

We are an apolitical organisation which attempts to act at all times in the best interests of all parties involved in land and property and represent members working in all sectors.

Accordingly, our contributions are always balanced and constructive and aim to ensure any legislation or guidance is fair and workable.

Indeed, the Institution's Royal Charter commits us to using the expertise of its members to benefit the public interest.
