RICS India successfully concludes 'Advanced Valuation Workshop Series'

RICS in conjunction with Cambridge International Land Institute UK, recently successfully concluded its 'Advanced Valuation Workshop Series' across three cities - Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru.
The workshop was attended by over 250 participants across the three cities and had representations from valuation professional firms, international property consultants, real estate funds, banks and housing finance institutions, other financial institutions, architects, civil engineers, real estate developers, and industry representatives.
The workshop presented a rare opportunity for practicing valuation professionals to benefit from the expertise of reputed international experts in the field of valuation. The workshop was presided over by an expert panel of reputed international speakers from the Cambridge International Land Institute (CILI), UK and offered immense value and insights to all participants.
The workshop covered relevant topics including a session on valuation methodologies, relevance of RICS Valuation Standards in light of adoption of IFRS in India, valuation for residential and commercial secured lending, analysis of commercial lease transactions, and valuation of development land.

The success of the recent collaborative experience of Cambridge International Land Institute (CILI) working with RICS India to create and deliver the recent Advanced Valuation workshops was most stimulating and professionally rewarding.
