Standards consultations
Through the RICS online consultations platform, iConsult, members and others are invited to contribute to the development of professional guidance and information.
Participants are invited to review and comment on each draft standard, no matter the area of specialism, within the allotted time frame (usually about four weeks). No restrictions are placed on the number of comments an individual can make, and the process is simple and free.

This consultation draft provides further information on the JESSICA (Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas) initiative that has been established to create an alternative source of funding to enable and promote urban regeneration projects in the European Union.

Valuation of intangible assets
This draft guidance note relates to the valuation of intangible assets, such as: goodwill, marketing related assets, customer or supplier related assets, artistic related assets and technology related assets among others. It has global application and is intended to comply with the requirements of International Valuation Standard (IVS) 210 Intangible Assets.

Valuation of businesses and business interests
This consultation draft relates to the valuation of entire businesses: companies, sole traders and partnerships (including LLPs), together with partial interests such as company stocks, shares and partnership interests but does not deal with intangible assets which is the subject of a separate guidance note. It has global application and complies with the requirements of International Valuation Standard (IVS) 200 Businesses and Business Interests.
