1. Definitions
Employer - user who is a registered job advertiser whether a recruitment agency or independent employer.
Service/Services - any information and services provided by RICS through or via the Site(s).

2. Registration and privacy of your data
2.1 RICS stores and processes data strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Such processes and uses of personal information are set out in our Privacy Policy www.rics.org/termsconditions.htm. By using the Site(s), you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
2.2 To access certain areas of the Site(s) users are required to complete the RICS registration process. You must not misrepresent your identity or status and must not use any other registration details other than your own. You must to ensure that you inform us of any changes to your registered information by using the online update facility so that your registered information is correct and up-to-date.
2.3 During registration you will create a confidential password to be used when using the Services. You must keep your password confidential at all times, and must not disclose it to anyone else or permit anyone else to use it. Any breach of any of these terms by anyone to whom you disclose the password will be treated as if the breach had been committed by you, and will not relieve you of your obligations under these terms and conditions.
2.4 In the event of any failure or error in the operation of a password you shall cease using the password and exit the Site(s) immediately, and notify RICS of such failure or error. RICS reserves the right to change, or to require you to change, your password at any time in its sole discretion.
2.5 RICS reserves the right to change any password. RICS reserves the right to disable any password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any of these terms.
2.6 You warrant that you are entitled to receive emails at the email address you provide.
2.7 In uploading or posting any information to the Site(s), such information will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary and will be viewed by other users or third parties. RICS has the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose such information to third parties for any purpose.
2.8 RICS may monitor your use of the Site(s) including any information you post so as to generally improve the Site(s) and the Services and to retain records to be used in the event of complaints or customer service issues. However, RICS accepts no obligation to monitor the use of the Site(s).
2.9 RICS will also in its absolute discretion fully co-operate with law enforcement and other relevant authorities and may disclose any information as required by law and/or relating to any investigation of suspected unlawful activity, intellectual property right infringements or violation of network security.
2.10 In the event that RICS undergoes reorganisation or its business is sold to a third party, you agree that any personal information RICS holds about you may be transferred to that reorganised entity [or third party].
