RICSPR & Communications Manager (North)
Kim's role is to raise awareness of the work of RICS and chartered surveyors through the organisation's Northern (North West, Yorkshire & Humber and North East) media channels.
Kim provides member communications through fortnightly e-newsletters and quarterly magazines, known as Surveyor, for each of the aforementioned Northern regions. Each magazine is full of local member news, regional industry features and details of upcoming events for members. Kim is responsible for sourcing, drafting and editing all of the content for the regional magazines. If you have any news or potential stories that you feel would be of interest, please get in touch.

More needs to be done to educate buyers that a valuation is not a home buyers survey, and the industry needs more home surveyors and valuers. These were key issues raised at a recent Residential Question Time Debate, held at the iconic Haydock Racecourse in the heart of the North West.
We're calling on construction firms across the UK to help tackle the skills shortage in the industry by helping some of their community’s most vulnerable people get back into work.
