The RICS Building Conservation Forum provides a network for professionals with an interest in the building conservation sector.
The aim of the forum is to develop standards, best practice guidance and technical information, as well as to organise seminars and events for professionals working in this area, and to promote public interest in building conservation in accordance with our Royal Charter.
The Building Conservation Forum:
- Runs an accreditation scheme for surveyors working in building conservation within the UK
- Regularly publishes the Building Conservation Journal, which features articles and opinion pieces on conservation matters, written by experts
- Publishes a regular series of short guides on issues related to historic buildings
- Arranges an active programme of events for members, including an annual seminar and visits to work in progress at historic buildings
As a forum member you'll receive discounts on relevant RICS publications and forum events.
