Dispute Resolution Service (Scotland)

The Scotland Dispute Resolution Service (DRS) incorporates methods of resolving disputes by Arbitration, Mediation, Adjudication and Expert Determination.

DRS Scotland receives applications for appointments and the majority of these applications are rent review disputes and cover amongst others, retail, industrial and office properties. The remainder tend to be construction/building-related disputes.

Fees
Fees required for the Appointment of an Arbitrator/Independent Expert in a Rent Review and also Appointment of an Adjudicator are as follows:

Appointment of an Arbitrator/Independent Expert in a Rent or Non-Rent Review
£307.50 + £61.50 VAT = £369

Appointment of an Arbitrator/Independent Expert other than Rent Review
£307.50 + £61.50 VAT = £369 

Appointment of an Adjudicator
£318.33 + £63.67 = £382

Appointment of a Mediator
£307.50 + £61.50 VAT = £369
