Our Associate qualification is suitable for you if you have relevant work-based experience or vocational qualifications.

What do I need to do?

To qualify as an associate you will need to demonstrate your competence in your chosen pathway. This is done through written submission and you will need to provide:

Summary of experience

You will need to provide a 3,000 word summary of your experience against the competencies set out in your chosen pathway– 2,000 words on the technical requirements and 1,000 words on the mandatory requirements.

Case study

You will need to provide 2,500 words on one of your recent projects which demonstrate your technical ability.

Contining professional development (CPD)

You will need to record 48 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) for the last 12 months.

Ethics test

All candidates need to complete and pass our online ethics test.

How long will it take me to qualify?

It will depend on your current experience, but generally it takes between 6-12 months to complete the submission.

How much will it cost?

The enrolment fee for the associate qualification is £350. You will also need to pay an annual subscription of £119.
