We regularly receive invitations and requests to respond to initiatives, developments and policy proposals issued by the Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament and other organisations working in land, property and construction.
We rely on our members to give their expert contributions to consultations.
We collate responses to consultation requests received from our members in advance of the consulting body's deadline, in order to submit a coherent and well-founded response that is both apolitical and reflective of the views of our membership.
Our policy team regularly holds roundtables and workshops with a view to deduce a membership view specific issues of various sectors and develop solutions-based recommendations to inform our UK and Scottish Policy Papers. Forthcoming roundtables include:
|UK Government Industrial Strategy Green Paper
||The role of the land, property and construction sectors in improving living standards and driving economic growth and productivity.
||10 April 2017
||RICS Office, Edinburgh
||An assessment of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act
If you are interested in participating, or require further information, please email Hew Edgar.
