RICS UK Awards 2026 National Shortlist

We are pleased to announce the National shortlist for the RICS UK Awards 2026. The prestigious projects shortlisted for the UK Awards 2026 Grand Final have been confirmed by our expert judging panel. 

During June and July, we were delighted to hold events across the UK, where the winning regional projects going forward as a finalist to compete at October’s National Grand Final were announced. 

Tickets are now available for the Grand Final of UK awards 2026 being held on 22 October 2026, at the Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge, London where the National winners will be announced.

Frequently asked questions

We welcome all individuals, teams and organisations who meet the criteria of the relevant category to apply for the awards. It is important that all applicants review the entry guidelines and assessment criteria to ensure that their submission meets the necessary requirements.

Nominations open annually. Select your region and category, then complete the online application form and upload it.

The projects must be completed within the last three years up until the 27th of February 2026.

Both organisations, teams and individuals can submit entries for themselves or be nominated by a third party.

Individual, team and multi-region organisations may make multiple regional award applications, but only one application per category is permitted.

Yes, you can enter as many categories as you want if you make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria for each category before submitting.

Projects/Team’s/Individuals must be located or operated within the region you are entering.

Information provided within the submission may be used by RICS for the purpose of the judging or promotion of the Awards. Any confidential information must be clearly stated within the submission.

We will use the information you provide to contact you in relation to the Awards. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing us at awards@rics.org. Further details of how we use, hold and store your information, and your legal rights, can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Our Head judges will review all candidates who apply to become a Judge and choose the most suitable individuals. We aim to set a high standard for our judges and highlight their expertise, inspiring a broad and diverse group of professionals. Judges do not need to be RICS professionals but will be required to have relevant levels of knowledge and professional standing (for example a member of an equivalent professional body) to fulfil the role of a judge. The judging panel will consist of 1 Head National Judge, primary judges, and reserves to ensure that the judging process runs smoothly.

Relax and in the meantime, we will:

  1. Review all submissions against the set criteria.
  2. Send all eligible submissions to the judging panel for scoring.
  3. Let you know if you have been shortlisted.
  4. Announce the regional shortlists
  5. Announce the winners at the Awards ceremonies
