UK & Ireland World Regional Board

The UK and Ireland has been identified and defined as a key world region of RICS, sitting alongside the other regions - Europe, MENEA (Middle East, Near East and Africa), South Asia, the Americas, Oceania and Asia.

The UK and Ireland World Regional Board has been set up under the RICS staff/member partnership model, with RICS members and executive staff sitting as full board members. The board's task is to create a cohesive and integrated business plan for the UK and Ireland. The board is accountable to the Management Board for the development and delivery of the region's business plan.

Each board member is expected to champion the transition of RICS towards a more business-focused organisation, anticipate future trends and contribute to the UK and Ireland strategy, demonstrate active support for the planned growth of membership and increased RICS profile in the UK and Ireland, and provide local market insight and constructive, evidence-based challenge to items brought to the board.
