RICS in Wales works closely with central and local government, educational resources and the Welsh media.
Wales has a devolved government, the Welsh Government, with the power to develop and implement policy in a range of key areas. These powers relate to 'secondary legislation', specifically those areas in which the majority of chartered surveyors operate.
Our national association RICS in Wales was established to meet the needs of the Welsh Government and to ensure a surveying voice was heard on issues affecting land, property, construction and, increasingly, the environment.
