Wherever you are in the world, the designation 'RICS' stands for excellence and integrity. It's why over 100,000 land, property and construction professionals have recognised the importance of securing RICS status by becoming members.
Who is Fellowship for?
Fellowship represents the pinnacle of success in our industries and provides further recognition of your achievements. It is also an opportunity to contribute to the profession by working alongside RICS to ensure we're recognised worldwide as the leading body that sets and enforces professional standards and offers access to the most sought after professional status. Fellows are leaders in their field, people who have undertaken notable projects or made a special contribution to the profession. Only professional members who are major achievers in their careers may apply.
What are the benefits?
Joining a group of professionals who stand out in the eyes of their peers, clients and the public.
I consider the key benefit to being a Fellow is the recognition by RICS and the property industry of having demonstrated a level of skill, knowledge and experience which, in addition to recognising my own achievements, gives me a platform for assisting others.
An exclusive class of chartered surveyor
Only 20% of our members have attained FRICS designation. Once approved, you will join this exclusive class of chartered surveyor, which opens up a wealth of networking opportunities across the world. You will have the opportunity to tap into the rich network that Fellowship status allows.
An assessment fee applies for all applications; details are provided with the application form. Annual Fellowship subscriptions also apply in each world region.
Deadlines for Upgrading to Fellowship are every October 1, February 1 and June 1. If falling on a weekend, the deadline will be on the following Monday.
If you're in our Americas region, you can download the applicant guidance and application form from the downloads section below.
