I'm pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Americas Regulatory Sub-Board.
The board, which plays an important role in helping shape regulatory policy and strategy in the region, will be led by newly elected board Chair, Paul Beland. Americas Regulatory Sub- Board members are expected to be qualified RICS members in good standing or non-members with a regulatory background who are respected in their field, for instance.
The Americas Regulatory Sub-Board sits under the Global Regulatory Board and is responsible for monitoring, considering and responding to changes to legislation and public policy that have a potential regulatory impact on the profession. In addition, the Sub-Board will oversee the delivery of a fair regulatory process, having regard to the need for RICS to act in the public interest.
Interested applicants can find more information about the responsibilities of the regulatory Sub-Board and its individual members on the right.
The term for each place on the Americas Regulatory Sub Board has duration of three years. In order to apply, applicants must submit an up-to-date resume and the application form to Chrissie Mallett at firstname.lastname@example.org.
