The "Next Gen" program was launched in fall 2016 and aims to provide a route for the next generation of RICS professionals who currently have four years or less of experience.

Developed to assist in the career development of young professionals of major employers in the construction, real estate, facilities management and valuation sectors, the newly structured program offers a reduction in fees and foundation courses depending on group size.

One of the main benefits of the program is that the AssocRICS designation allows a streamlined pathway for approved professionals to obtain their MRICS designation.

The pilot program was launched in the U.S. with Cumming Corporation as the first major employer to sign on to increase standards of work and operations at the entry level. BTY Group in Canada has also recently signed-on to obtain the AssocRICS designation and positively impact performance within their organization.

The Next Gen program offers employers a new recruiting tool to attract young professionals, as well as brings candidates one step closer to acquiring the MRICS designation.
