It is with great sadness that we have heard that Governing Council member Christopher Green FRICS passed away on Sunday 27 August 2017. He served on the Council for six years.
President Amanda Clack has paid tribute to Christopher as a strong champion for surveyors who work in smaller practices, and as someone who constantly reminded other Council members about the importance of SMEs.
RICS CEO Sean Tompkins also made mention of Chris’s significant contribution to the profession as part of the working group on Conflicts of Interest. He will be remembered for his passion for setting the right tone and ensuring our standards of professionalism were exemplary and furthered our Charter to advance the profession in the public interest.
This is a sad loss to the Institution, the profession, and to his family and friends.
