Prompt Payment Legislation in Canada

Provinces and Territories across Canada have enacted or are in the process of enacting their prompt pay legislation. To support the legislation and the growth of successful adjudication nationwide, ADRIC and its provincial affiliate organizations, supported by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, has developed a comprehensive framework for construction adjudication based on:

  • a consistent level of construction adjudicator training, and
  • a consistent approach, within the parameters of provincial and federal legislation, to panel creation, appointments, and quality assurance.

ARCANA

ARCANA is a collaboration between the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada (ADRIC), and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The collaboration brings together organisations with long-established track records in development and implementation of dispute resolution services in the construction sector.
