RISE Essentials is a process-led talent management programme, providing businesses with the support they need to develop their internal infrastructure and help guide their candidates on their journey to RICS Qualification – Associate or Chartership.

Business Requirements for RISE Essentials (please read before progressing further)

  • For businesses located outside of the UK and/or Ireland.
  • Each cohort in the programme must have a minimum of 10 candidates.

How do we support the candidate's journey

During the initial stage, we hold a Kick-off Session with candidates. This includes the following:

  • Introduction to RICS
  • Overview of assessment routes and eligibility
  • Overview of the selected sector pathway
  • Overview of the ethics modules and CPD available
  • Guidance and support available during assessment journeys

The enrolment stage also includes candidate application, support, and vetting; including a CV review for route eligibility and additional support with the RICS online application tool.

This stage is made up of 3 main parts including:

A workshop on getting started, aimed at newly enrolled candidates​ advising how to get started with submissions.

Monthly Q&A drop-in sessions are also available for tips and answers to corporate candidates’ questions.

The Hit Submit Session offers:

  • Overview of the submission requirements, ensuring all aspects are complete.
  • A detailed review of competencies, case study, structure, and elements of submission as a whole (APC/Assoc).
  • Overview on how to write the resume, case studies, & CPD record (Senior Professional Assessment).

​RICS Assessment ​

Candidates apply for assessment within the official Assessment window RICS provides. Candidates are then invited to sit their Final Assessment if all submissions provided are in good order.
