Matrics Glasgow: The cost of sustainability

This session will review the commercial aspects of Passivhaus / Net Zero Carbon and SFT LEIP funding (and how they are linked). It will also touch on Whole Life Appraisal / Life Cycle Costing in the context of the other subject matter, along with how the recently published Scottish Construction Accord and the nature of collaboration are significant in this regard.

Dean Carrick is a Passivhaus-accredited QS involved in Education projects and will provide a comparative review of the material outlined. Dean is Technical Partner at Doig+Smith, based in Edinburgh. He is a professional member of RICS, an APC Assessor and is fanatical about developing younger staff.
