Mallary is part of Microdesk's Architecture, Media + Entertainment, Reality Capture and Scan to BIM team, where she provides technical support, training, implementation, and consulting services to Microdesk's Architectural and Media & Entertainment clients. Since joining Microdesk, Mallary has worked with a wide variety of clients including Walt Disney Imagineering, Richard Meier Architects, GKKWorks/Cannon Design, Altoon Partners/Stir Architecture and the Art Director's Guild.
Prior to working at Microdesk, she worked with GB Geotechnics USA Inc., an international company specializing in forensic engineering where she developed her expertise in Measured Building Survey and Scan to BIM - a process of delivering 2D drawings and 3D models in a conventional as-built deliverable utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design), BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Laser Scanning, augmented with GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) to further define the as-built condition and arrangement.
Mallary's early experience with BIM came in New York City, working for H3 Hardy Collaboration Architecture, implementing BIM for the documentation and restoration of the award winning landmark project, Pier A, at the foot of Manhattan.
Mallary holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Mississippi State University and is a Certified Autodesk Revit Architecture Professional.
