Does your firm have procedures in place to ensure that all staff are competent and trained to perform their work?
A procedure is a system that your firm has in place to provide training and development to ensure all staff, including principals, are properly trained and competent to do their work. This could include having an internal policy to provide training to employees.
If you are a sole practitioner, you must have a personal plan in place.
The procedure does not need to be limited to 'surveying skills' and could include general office, computing, language or people skills. An example of this might be providing training within the work place on report writing/presentation skills.
