Training series now available for Non-Valuers

Many influences can change the value of commercial property, some outside of your control and some by your own decisions. Understanding this can help you maximise the performance of property, grow value within your portfolio, build investor trust and improve your business

Professionals, whether individuals or part of a team, can build their understanding of property valuation to support the day-to-day decisions that make an impact and shape overall performance of a portfolio.

RICS seeks to provide Non-Valuers and their teams with this understanding of property valuation to help maximise their properties' performance by attending two workshops which are available both as a public training for individuals and as an in-house program for teams.

Available now, contact us to find out how you, individual or company, can join the program in Australia and New Zealand. Alternatively, select the workshops listed on the page to read more and secure your spot.

Why are these workshops different?

This series of training aims to provide the critical knowledge needed for Non-Valuers and professionals to optimise commercial property performance, create competitive advantage and enable participants to knowledgeably discuss the assumptions and drivers used by external valuers in their valuations.

The workshops help attendees learn new concepts, refresh their knowledge or stand out from their competitors as more knowledgeable. The two courses (Valuation for Non-Valuers and Discounted Cash Flow for Non-Valuers) can be taken individually or as a comprehensive development program for a team.

The series of full- and half-day face-to-face workshops are written and presented by Richard Dunham Stacey, an experienced property fund manager, who looks in detail at the concepts of valuation, then specifically relates them to a fund management perspective. The half-day face-to-face Valuation for Non-Valuers workshops in New Zealand are written and presented by Richard Lawson, an experienced registered valuer with a wide range of valuation and consultancy assignments.
