RICS Rules for the Registration of Schemes requires Members to plan, undertake, record and evaluate appropriate continuing professional development.

Furthermore, Practice Statement 1.4 (Qualifications of the Valuer) requires each valuation be prepared by, or under the supervision of, an appropriately qualified member who accepts responsibility of that valuation.
