Amanda Clack FRICS took office as RICS President on 27 June 2016.
Amanda is a Partner at EY where she is the Head of Infrastructure (Advisory) for the UK and Ireland. She leads on infrastructure, including cities, across government and the private sector. Prior to this she led on consulting with FTSE 250 companies across the South East of England for another of the Big Four, as well as property, real estate and construction for consulting.
Qualifying as a quantity surveyor and in project management, Amanda is a Fellow of RICS, as well as the Association for Project Management, the Royal Society of Arts, the Institute of Consulting and the Institute of Management. She is also a Companion of the Institute of Management, is a Certified Management Consultant and an Affiliate of the Institute of Accountants for England and Wales.
Amanda is a past vice chair of the Management Board; led the Clack Review on Election and Selection; and also established the UK and Ireland World Regional Board. She has been an external examiner/lecturer and is a member of the Surveyors Livery Company. In 2013 Anglia Ruskin University presented Amanda with the Success in Business Award. She is also an Associate School Governor.
In her role as President, Amanda’s major themes are infrastructure, including financing and sustainability; the cities agenda; addressing the War for Talent; as well as the recognition of international standards created in collaboration with other organisations around the globe.
