Trevor Rushton FRICS

Technical Director, Watts International

Trevor has over 35 years’ experience in commercial building surveying.  He joined Watts and Partners in 1983 and is now Technical Director of the firm. Trevor specialises in building pathology and is a prolific writer and speaker on technical topics and a regular speaker for RICS conferences and events.

He has helped to draft the RICS Guidance note on Building Surveys and Technical Due Diligence of Commercial Buildings. He is editor in chief of the Watts Pocket Handbook.

He authored “Investigating Hazardous and Deleterious Materials” published by RICS Books along with a companion volume “Investigating Defects in Commercial and Industrial Buildings”. He also serves on the editorial board of the Building Surveying Journal.
