The private residential tenancy came into force on 1 December 2017, replacing the assured and short assured tenancy agreements for all new tenancies and renewals. 

This seminar will outline the impact of the changes and explore what they mean for the residential market in your region.

Carolyn qualified as a rural practice chartered surveyor in 1996 and has undertaken estate management in Scotland since 1994.  She has been based in Dumfries for the last 20 years and during that time has specialised in the letting and management of all types of residential property. 

Carolyn has sat on the RICS Scotland Private Rented Sector Forum since 2004 and has been Chair since September 2016.  Within this role Carolyn have provided RICS support at stakeholders meetings relating to the Letting Agent Regulation.
