Ingela Lindh is a Swedish architect who first took office in the City of Stockholm in 1991. Since then she has held several executive positions within the City Administration. Following the municipal elections in 2014 the City Executive Board appointed Ingela Lindh Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the City of Stockholm. As Deputy CEO, Ingela was primarily responsible for matters relating to infrastructure, real estate, construction, culture and sports. In 2016 Ingela was appointed Chief Executive Officer for the City of Stockholm. AS CEO Ingela has the overall responsibility for welfare services as well as her previous portfolio of responsibilities.
The City of Stockholm is one of Sweden’s largest organisations, employing more than 40,000 people. It has an operating budget of 4.5 billion euro, approximately half of which is used for procuring goods and services.
