Zoe leads on Smart Cities and urban planning and development at PwC. As an experienced chartered town planner, having worked across 15+ countries, she provides strategic and spatial planning advice on urban economic and sustainable city development.
Working closely with national and city-level government authorities in the UK, Middle East, Europe, Central Asia, South America and Africa, Zoe has provided advice on urban planning and economic tools, policies and frameworks for cities and regions. Stakeholder engagement with government, private sector and multilaterals has been a key part of this work. Zoe has also worked more closely with local government to develop capacity in urban planning by supporting the development of robust housing, employment and open space plans that are part of a city’s development strategy.
Prior to joining PwC, Zoe was an urban development specialist in the Cities team at global engineering firm Atkins, providing advice on urban planning and economic tools, policies and frameworks urban planning and development projects, which included Bahrain’s first National Development and Implementation Strategy, planning for nationwide housing and employment growth to 2030.
