Todd Foley leads the strategic integration of policy development, research, external communications, and interaction with federal and state government and regulatory officials.
He has over 25 years' experience in federal and state policy, renewable energy market design, business development and sales. Prior to joining ACORE, he directed global and policy, communications and business development and profile sales for BP Solar.
Prior to moving into BP's renewable business, he directed U.S. environmental, government and regulatory affairs for BP America. He also served in several U.S. government positions, including the White House, Senate, Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
He served on the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industries Association, the Solar Alliance, Solar Electric Power Association and the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Associations. He received a bachelor's degree from Boston College and a law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University.
