Overview
Walsall Arboretum turns 150 years old in 2024. The Arboretum covers over 100 acres and includes a lake, park, gardens, green spaces and plenty of pathways. To mark the anniversary celebrations, the Black Country Local Professional Association invite you to join us at ‘the Arbo’ for a morning Net Walk!
Bring your trainers, walking boots or whatever you’re comfortable in, as well as an umbrella and sunscreen (we never can guarantee the weather), and meet us at the south-eastern car park off Broadway North ready to set off at around 8:00am.
We will begin our journey from the car park and follow the path, taking a leisurely stroll through the Arboretum. On our way, there is a café where we can make a stop for people to purchase a drink if they wish, before finishing back at the car park. The entire walk is expected to take around 1.5 hours, including drink stop.
For those taking part in the Lionheart 125 Challenge, this will be ideal training, for everyone else it’s a great way to get some fresh air before starting work.
RICS members and non members are welcome, as well as your four-legged friends.
