Price Adjustment Formulae Indices - 2020 release dates

The price adjustment formulae are methods of calculating the increase, or decrease, in contractors' costs over any period using the Price Adjustment Formulae Indices (PAFI) published by BCIS Online.

The formulae and the indices are widely used in larger building civil engineering contracts. BCIS publish indices for building trades, civil engineering, specialist engineering and highways.

The publication dates of the monthly indices have contractual significance and are published on BCIS online.
The PAFI will, unless otherwise stated, be published monthly at 12 noon on the Tuesday following the release of the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Producer Price Indices (PPIs), which will usually be the Wednesday following the second Friday of the month.

The PAFI publication dates for 2020 are as follows:

31 March 2020
28 April 2020
27 May 2020 - Wednesday
23 June 2020
21 July 2020
25 August 2020
22 September 2020
27 October 2020
24 November 2020
22 December 2020

Release dates for all BCIS indices are published online.
