The 1st edition of this standard provided criteria that can be used by valuers during a typical valuation inspection to identify buildings where remediation work to cladding for fire safety purposes, that may materially affect the value of the property, is likely to be required. The twin aims of this 2nd edition, are:

1)      to ensure the updated criteria is proportionate

2)      to ensure the guidance reflects the latest legislation
