His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh 1921 - 2021

Following the news last week that His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh has sadly passed away, RICS President Kath Fontana has today written to our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, to convey deepest condolences from the global surveying community.

RICS CEO, Sean Tompkins, commented:

“As a Royal Institution, RICS and Chartered Surveyors worldwide mourn the passing of His Royal Highness, the Duke of Edinburgh. The Duke of Edinburgh is well known for his work to empower young people from all backgrounds to develop new skills and build confidence for the future. He will be warmly remembered by the generations he has inspired. Our thoughts are with our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, and all members of the Royal Family at this time”.
