In support of International Women’s Day 2026, RICS Wales Board Members Nicola Hall MRICS and Emma Williams MRICS WILL be exploring the theme of Give to Gain at an in-person group discussion over brunch at the Talardy Inn, St Asaph, North Wales.
Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organisations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise. Whether through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.
At a time when the surveying and wider construction industry face a skills shortage it is important to understand what actions we can all take to attract, retain and develop a more diverse workforce, and put strategies in place that will help support the advancement of women and girls into senior leadership positions.
The event is open to everyone, men and women, from students to experienced professionals and your input could help to shape the future of RICS Wales Diversity, Inclusion and Equality plans.
