Overview

The RICS Profession Support and Assurance team are running a series of FREE online Red Book Compliance workshops. These will be held on various dates as below, at various start times and will be delivered through Microsoft Teams. It is expected to last for 3.5 hours to allow sufficient time for Questions and Answers.

These workshops aim to support you in creating an audit trail meeting the requirements of the RICS Rules of Conduct and the RICS Valuation – Global Standards {Red Book} of which a new edition has just been launched and becomes effective 31.1.25.

Please do attend if you are available or forward to another VRS Valuer in your firm who you think would benefit. This invitation extends to all students of valuation and APC candidates too.

The workshop will cover

  • Changes to the new edition of Red Book effective 31.1.25
  • Examining why it is important that an audit trail is created
  • Explaining how the audit trail is created
  • Discussions and interactions on your risk mitigation as a Valuer
  • Signposting of where to get further support
