Overview

The RICS Profession Support and Assurance team runs FREE online Red Book Compliance workshops. These sessions are offered globally, with a range of dates and start times, and are delivered via Microsoft Teams.

Each workshop provides 3.5 hours of structured CPD. Run times may vary slightly, but the 3.5‑hour allowance ensures there is sufficient time for presentation content, discussion, and comprehensive Q&A segments.

These workshops are designed to support you in developing an audit trail that meets the requirements of both the RICS Rules of Conduct and the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book)

Please attend if you are available, and feel free to forward this information to other VRS Valuers who may benefit. The sessions are also open to valuation students and APC candidates.

The workshop will cover

  • Mandatory Red Book requirements - A clear walk-through of the essential standards all valuers must follow.
  • Creation of a robust audit trail - why it matters and how to do this effectively.
  • Risk mitigation for valuers - Discussions and opportunities to share best practice.
  • Live interactive Q&A (not recorded) - A safe space to ask questions, explore challenges, and seek clarification.
  • Support - Signposting to guidance, framework documents, and additional resources to help embed good practice.
