Overview

It’s a fact of construction projects that there will be changes to the design after contracts are agreed, but do you know what the correct process is, or what your contract says about variations?

This session will provide a primer on managing variations under JCT and NEC contracts and will cover:

  • What does the contract say?
  • How are variations defined?
  • How should they be communicated?
  • What do they mean in financial terms?
  • Common areas of dispute
  • Real life cases.
