Overview

A financially healthy and vibrant supply chain is key if the industry is to deliver projects on time and on budget. However, undermining this is widespread practice of late payments from main contractors to sub-contractors, who are the back-bone to a resilient and thriving sector.

To address this the government has reaffirmed its commitment to tackling the scourge of late payments in the construction industry, with new rules coming into effect from 1 September 2019. This timely seminar will give you an overview of the new rules and equip you with the knowledge you need to ensure that the industry is creating a fairer payments system.

Themes to be discussed include:

  • Overview of the new rules and what they mean in practice
  • Linking payments to procurement decisions
  • Driving efficiencies and benefitting all construction stakeholders
  • Examples of best practice

The published time is when registration opens. The seminar will begin 30 minutes later.
