You can take part in our Survey of the Profession, or raise issues or ideas through regional groups and at our AGM. The RICS today is a product of all its members, past and present.  Achieving Associate, Chartered or Fellow status is a significant professional milestone. It reflects the effort you have put into your development, the depth of your professional knowledge, and the trust that clients, colleagues and the public place in your judgement.

I see the difference that RICS professionals make every day, in the conversations I have with members, and in the work, I witness across our global community. Whether advising clients, contributing to well-functioning markets, or helping to shape the built and natural environment, your work has real impact. Your designation recognises what you have achieved to date, but it also signals how you are expected to practise as your career continues.

RICS is here to protect the integrity and standing of the qualification you now hold. We do this by maintaining rigorous standards, investing in education and professional development, and engaging globally to ensure consistency and credibility. That work underpins the confidence with which you can practise, and the recognition your designation carries around the world.

You are now part of a global professional community with shared expectations about how members conduct themselves and the standards they uphold. Staying engaged, continuing to learn, and contributing to the profession over time all matter. That is how we sustain the strength of this profession for future generations.
