Your purchase of the RICS Knowledge & Competence Subscription Package, RICS Knowledge and Competence Enterprise or the RICS Qualification Package, (“Subscription”) will be subject to (i) Terms & Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs of Sale”) (ii) Special Conditions for Training and Events (“Special Conditions”) and (iii) these Support Packages Special Conditions (“Support Packages Terms”). In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the Special Conditions, the T&Cs of Sale, and the Support Packages Terms, the following order of precedence shall apply: (i) these Support Packages Terms; (ii) the Special Conditions; and (iii) the T&Cs of Sale.
1. Term and Scope of the Subscription
1.1. For the purpose of these Support Packages Terms, the Knowledge and Competence Enterprise Package is open to both qualified members and non-members of the RICS. Subscribers to the Qualification Package must be enrolled as RICS candidates and be undertaking their APC.
1.2. Each Subscription shall be for a specified term of either 12 or 24 months (or such term as stated within the order confirmation) and be subject to the renewal terms at Clause 2.4 (“Subscription Term”). Access to the Subscription contents shall expire at the end of the Subscription Term subject to any renewal.
1.3. When purchasing the Subscription as an Enterprise Customer, you will be required to nominate an individual within your organisation as your “Key Contact”. Discounted rates are available for multiple Subscription purchases. Only one discount can be applied to the purchase of a Subscription and applications of any discount are at the discretion of RICS. The Key Contact will be responsible for managing the Subscription and will be required to nominate the individuals within your organisation that you wish to have access to our training/events (each individual being a “Subscription User”). Where you are purchasing as an individual, you will be the Key Contact and Subscription User.
1.4. For all multiple subscription purchases, including Knowledge and Competence Enterprise packages, adding new Subscription Users to an existing Subscription must be done at the then-current price and not at the original rate.
1.5. For Knowledge and Competence Enterprise customers, Subscription Users must use their organisation’s email address to be included in the organisation’s dashboard and to be eligible for the multiple purchase discount, personalised landing page and dashboard.
1.6. If you fail to make payment of the fees due in respect of your Subscription at any time during the Subscription Term, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Subscription immediately and without notice.
If you are a Consumer: You shall remain liable to pay any outstanding fees for a Subscription already provided to you. Any sums paid for a Subscription not yet provided will be refunded within 14 days of termination, unless the termination is due to your material breach of these terms.
If you are an Enterprise Customer: You shall remain liable to pay for the remainder of the Subscription Term and any sums paid up to the point of any suspension or termination are non-refundable.
2. Change of Subscription User
2.1. Each Subscription User shall have a right to attend as many of the training/events as they wish to during the Subscription Term, subject to availability.
2.2. You are not entitled to transfer the access to the Subscription between individuals within your organisation or to transfer access to anyone else without our express written agreement (which shall be at our sole discretion). We reserve the right to refuse access to any individual that is not a Subscription User.
2.3. For Knowledge and Competence Enterprise customers, an organisation may remove a Subscription User and replace with another for up to 10% of their total Subscription Users. Changes must be made on the 1st working day of each month and are subject to our approval.
2.4. Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of the then-Subscription Term for successive periods of 12 months at the then-current price unless you cancel.
If you are a Consumer, we will send you a reminder email at least 30 days before renewal confirming the renewal price and how to cancel, you may cancel at any time before the renewal date by contacting productsupport@rics.org, and if your Subscription renews you have 14 days to cancel and receive a full refund provided you have not used any Services during the renewal period.
If you are an Enterprise Customer, you may cancel by giving us at least 30 days' written notice before the renewal date.
3. Booking training/event places
3.1. Subscription Users will be required to book a place for a given training/event in advance of their attending. Bookings are subject to availability and we reserve the right to limit the number of places available to Subscription Users for any particular training/event.
