The APC Preliminary Review route is for:

  • Professionals with a degree or membership of an RICS-approved professional body (you can view the full list here) and
  • 5 years’ experience relevant to an RICS sector pathway (i.e., surveying discipline). 12 months’ experience must be post degree or approved professional body qualification.


If eligible, an RICS panel will carry out a preliminary review of your assessment submission and confirm if you’re ready to move forward to the APC final assessment.
