CityLife is a major urban regeneration project in Milan initiated and led by Generali, turning a former exhibition site into a sustainable, dynamic district. With iconic towers designed by Zaha Hadid, Arata Isozaki, and Daniel Libeskind, it includes residential, commercial, and office spaces.
Covering 36 hectares, CityLife prioritises quality of life with underground infrastructure, a traffic-free park, and modern architecture. The neighbourhood has earned top certifications at Platinum level, including LEED for Cities and Communities, WELL for Community and SITES, for its eco-friendly design and renewable energy use – in addition to the top-notch certifications achieved or in progress by the single buildings.
CityWave will be the latest addition in this context: a 60,000m² office complex with a unique design by Bjarke Ingels, totally focused on sustainability, wellbeing and low carbon footprint. Currently under construction, it will be completed by 2026.
CityLife highlights Milan’s ambition to compete with top European capitals, offering a cutting-edge urban space for residents, businesses, and visitors.
