Join us for an exclusive site visit to Orion’s Waimakariri Zone Substation in Harewood, Christchurch.
This session will give members a practical look at how the local electricity distribution network operates, including:
- The role of zone substations.
- High and low voltage equipment.
- Transformers, switchgear, and network operations.
- Protection and control systems that keep the network safe and reliable.
Capacity: Limited to 10 attendees (for safety reasons)
