Overview

The South West has no shortage of development opportunity - but turning a viable project into a funded one has never been more complex. Rising construction costs, shifting lender appetite, and an evolving capital markets landscape mean that developers and surveyors alike need a clearer picture of where the money is, how it works, and how to access it.

This regional event in collaboration with RICS Commercial Property Professional Group Panel (PGP), brings together practitioners from across the region for an honest, practical conversation about real estate development finance today.

The session will include:

  • Keynote address on development finance and the capital landscape
  • Presentation followed by discussion on funding development in the South West - barriers, opportunities and the road ahead
  • Commercial Property Professional Group Panel Update

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The event will follow Chatham House rules. Discussions may be recorded and/or transcribed, but for the purpose of capturing insights only.
