RICS in West Midlands: Tile Decorating and Jackfield Tile Factory Tour

Please join the Midlands branch of Women in Property and RICS in the West Midlands for a tour around Jackfield Tile Museum and a tile decorating session focussing on traditional techniques.

Craven Dunnill is the UK’s longest-operating tile manufacturing and supply group. Founded in 1872 the company has an unrivalled reputation for the production & supply of quality ceramic tiles. Their Jackfield factory benefits from excellent clay in the surrounding area which helped Craven Dunnill became a world leader in tile manufacturing.

Their tiles are known for craftsmanship of the highest calibre, combining traditional with modern production techniques to reinvent ceramics. They have produced award-winning installations around the world and feature in 5* hotels, iconic bars and restaurants, artistic murals and restoration projects.

The visit includes breakfast, a tour around the tile factory and a hands on tile decorating session with the experts. Please provide your car reg to book a free car parking space.

08:30 - Guest arrival and welcome reception. Tea, coffee and fresh pastries served upon arrival.

09:30-10:30 - Guided behind the scenes factory tour of our production facility.

11:00-12:30 - Hands-on tile making session by expert Jen Kelleher.

• Participate in a creative, hands-on experience that highlights our traditional techniques.
• Create your own bespoke tile with guidance from our artisans.
