This course introduces the UK's evolving approach to information management through the Information Management Initiative (IMI). You will explore how BIM supports the wider information management framework defined by the IMI and ISO 19650, helping you stay aligned with current and emerging industry practices.

Michael Dougan

Michael is a Senior Consultant at Turner & Townsend with 12 years of experience in the construction and BIM industry. He has worked across a variety of sectors, focusing heavily on large scale, multi-disciplinary modelling for complex builds like data centres. With a
solid background spanning Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines, Michael understands the realities of project delivery from multiple angles. Before joining Turner & Townsend, he helped drive industry standards in Northern Ireland by delivering the very first BS EN ISO 19650 accreditation to an architectural practice. In this course, Michael draws on his day-to-day experience to help learners grasp the practical side of information management.

Veronica is an ARB-registered Architect and Building Engineering specialist with over a decade of industry experience. She has extensive expertise in implementing and managing ISO 19650 compliance framework supporting Clients, Tier 1 contractors and architectural practices by leading ISO 19650 compliant processes and ensuring ISO audit compliance.
