Overview

Mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and trauma are increasingly affecting individuals and workplaces across the natural and built environment. Without the right understanding, these challenges can go unnoticed or unsupported, impacting both personal wellbeing and organisational performance.

This course, featuring curated content from Access Learning and delivered through the RICS partnership with Access Learning, helps learners develop a deeper understanding of common mental health conditions and their impact in a workplace context.

Through practical guidance and real-world insights, learners will explore how to recognise warning signs, respond appropriately and support colleagues in a safe, responsible and informed way.

Covering topics including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and suicidal thoughts and feelings, the course builds awareness of the challenges individuals may face while providing practical approaches to offering support and signposting appropriate help.

By strengthening understanding and confidence, learners will be better equipped to contribute to a supportive workplace culture and promote positive wellbeing outcomes for themselves and others.
