The Duke of Cambridge will, on Friday 17 November, attend the launch event for the RICS Pledge150 campaign at its Headquarters in Parliament Square.
As part of RICS’s 150th anniversary celebrations in 2018, Pledge150 will see RICS partner with property industry charity, LandAid to raise £2.25 million for the provision of 150 bed spaces across all 12 UK regions by December 2018, for young people at risk of homelessness.
The launch will provide an occasion to inspire guests, including CEO’s and senior figures from property and construction firms, to support the campaign and kick start fundraising activities.
Fundraising activities on the day will include a charity auction of luxury items and a charity cook-off compared by BBC TV presenter, Angellica Bell, winner of this year’s Celebrity MasterChef. The cook-off will see Sean Tompkins, RICS CEO and Paul Morrish, LandAid CEO compete against each other alongside LandAid beneficiaries to create a winning dish.
