Our 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on Thursday 25 June.
The AGM was an opportunity to hear from senior RICS leadership, including President and Chair of Governing Council Nicholas Maclean OBE RD FRICS IRRV (Hons) and CEO Justin Young, on our activity and performance over the last year. Alongside them, members from across our institution shared their testimonies on the difference that being an RICS member makes.
The programme focused on three key themes: confidence, influence and education. Watch the event in full below to see how these themes are driving our work.
The AGM was also an opportunity for members to ask questions about the issues that matter to them.
We have answered all of the questions asked before, during, and after the AGM in the below document.

We have included all pre-submitted questions, those asked on the day and those that were submitted by email. We have not published the names of those who asked questions and removed any identifying details. We also have summarised and/or joined similar questions to avoid duplication.
One vote was held at the AGM, on the reappointment of Grant Thornton UK LLP as the Independent Auditor until the conclusion of the next AGM. The vote passed with a significant majority.
The full Minutes for AGM are being finalised by the Governance team and will be shared at a later date.
