Join us online for a dynamic and forward-thinking conference designed specifically for planning and development professionals working in a fast-moving world. Taking place across two focused mornings on the 9th and 10th of September, this year marks an exciting change as the conference moves online for the very first time – opening the door to a wider, more diverse audience from across the UK.

The programme is built to address the most pressing challenges and emerging opportunities in planning and development today. Through a series of expert-led sessions, panel discussions and practical case studies, delegates will gain a comprehensive understanding of how planning reform, evolving government priorities and the implications of a new Prime Minister are shaping delivery and development. The conference will also explore current land market trends, offering valuable insight into sector confidence across different regions and asset classes.

A key focus will be on delivery – examining governance structures, funding mechanisms and implementation models for large-scale developments and new communities. Sessions will also highlight innovative ways to unlock stalled or underutilised sites, giving delegates practical strategies to apply in their work.

Policy and regulation remain central, with opportunities to evaluate key frameworks such as Greenbelt and Greybelt policy, planning reform, Spatial Development Strategies and biodiversity requirements, alongside discussion of how these reforms are being implemented in practice. Delegates will also learn how to assess development viability using national methodologies, while legal experts clarify recent legislative changes and their implications for planning and development.

The conference is designed to inform, challenge and inspire. Whether you are working in the public or private sector, across policy, delivery or advisory roles, you will leave with a stronger understanding of the forces shaping the industry – and the tools and insights needed to respond effectively.
